Qualification Criteria for VT for Telecom Trade
Bachelor of Engineering / Technology in Electronics and Communication Engineering. Additionally should have done a Diploma or certificate course in Optical Fiber Communication. The suggested qualification is the minimum criteria. However higher qualifications such as Bachelor of Engineering in Electronics.

Qualification Criteria for VT for Automobile Trade
Degree in Automobile Engineering /Mechanical Engineering from a recognized Institute /University, with at least 1 year work / teaching experience Or Diploma in Automobile Engineering/Mechanical Engineering from a recognized Institute /University, with at least 1 year work / teaching experience.

Qualification Criteria for VT for IT/ITeS Trade
Diploma in Computer Science/ Information Technology OR Bachelor Degree in Computer Application/ Science/ Information Technology (BCA, B. Sc. Computer Science/ Information Technology) OR Graduate with PGDCA OR DOEACC A Level Certificate. The suggested qualification is the minimum criteria. However higher qualifications will also be acceptable.

Age Limited :
18 - 37 years for general candidates, age relaxation to be provided as per the Govt. rules.
